NORMAL, ILLINOIS – Feb. 5, 2021 – Meeting room technology provider RoomReady has named AV technology expert Dave Hatz as its new vice president of technology, effective February 3. Hatz will be responsible for continually improving the technology behind RoomReady’s AV products and services, overseeing integration services, platform management, IT and engineering.

Among his accomplishments and credentials, Hatz is a Crestron Diamond Master Programmer – the highest certification available from Creston – placing him among the top 20 Crestron developers worldwide, and an instructor at the annual Crestron Master’s event. He also holds the AMX Solutions Master designation – placing him among the top 25 developers worldwide. Hatz has the distinction of being the only person on both lists.

Hatz is certified in, and an AVIXA instructor for, CTS, CTS-D and CTS-I prep courses. Hatz also champions the implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes in the AV industry.

Hatz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Francis. He was listed on the Commercial Integrator 40 Influencers Under 40: Class of 2016.
